Transportation to Grand Bazaar in Istanbul

What is the best way to get to the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul from the ship? Taxi? Tram? Also, is the Spice Market within walking distance of the Grand Bazaar?

Our cruise line provided a compimentary bus that stopped just outside the Grand Bazaar. If yours does not provide a bus then I would take a taxi. The trip will take you about 30 minutes. It is not too far but depending on the time of day there can be a lot of traffic.

 

The spice market is just a few minute walk from the Grand Bazaar. You will see the Spice Market on your right hand side before you arrive at the Grand Bazaar if you are coming from the ship and the Grand Bazaar will also be on your right hand side.

Anyone know how best to get from the ship to the Grand Bazaar on your own, perhaps with bus/tram options? :)
