Flying from Michigan?

Recommended Posts

Port Canaveral doesn't even have an airport. The next closest airport is in Melbourne, FL. However, I wouldn't even bother flying into this airport due to traffic delays. Orlando is a quick drive to/from the port on the "Beachline" expressway.

How long is the flight, and how many flights, can get you to Orlando by 1;45 pm.? If you are leaving the day of departure, I would fly out on one of the earliest leaving times available. In case of any problems at all, you need a plan B for same day fly in. Plan C, might be to fly in the day/evening before. Plan C will cost more, hotels and meals, but it reduces alot of stress and anxiety, about getting there. We've done it both ways a number of times from Baltimore. Just don't miss the boat, and figure out the what works best for you. Good Luck! Metrowon
