Hi all,

 

My wife & I are booked on the first cruise in October, and would be grateful for advice from anyone who has taken this cruise this season. We have never been on a cruise before, (well I have, completely around the world, on Ellinis & Fairsea.... UK-Australia-and return but that is a long, long time ago)

 

What proportion of travellers actually choose to dress up on the 'formal' nights, as I no longer even possess a suitable dinner jacket, is it worthwile buying one, or can this be rented on board ?

 

As we are just starting our research of the ports of call, apart from Venice, these are Bari, Katakolon, Kusadasi (now Smyrna for this season), Istanbul, and Dubrovnik, what are the actual costs of the excursions which can be booked onboard for these sites, and are they in your opinion worth the cost.
