Resturant Fees on Pearl

Can someone who has been there done that post all the resturants on the Pearl and the fees per person they charge? It seems all NCL ships are not the same as some have ones others don't have and it seems to be a moving fee target that can change at any time. Is it possible these charges will change as Pearl goes to Alaska? I want the Alaska charges for those just getting back. And has anyone done that Salmon Bake excursion in place of a night meal in Alaska?

Our experience was generally that if you walk up at 6:00, tables will be available (that is, for two - probably not as easy for a larger group). We did this twice at Cagney's, once at Chin-Chin, and once at Mambo's.:)

Teppanyaki-- 3 dining times depends upon what time the show is.

$12.50 per person and worth every penny.

Enjoy the cruise and the Pearl.

Correction: Chin-Chin is on the Jewel - should have said Lotus Garden (so many great ships, so many good places to eat, so little time, pants get too tight).

The sushi bar charges $15 per person, and it is worth every penny. Romeo and Jason are great chefs, and if you are there alone they might make special sushi for you:D They take reservations, but we could always walk up and they said it was never very busy.

I would make reservations for Mambo's and La Cucina as they were very busy every night of our cruise.

Wow, already conflicts here. Some say they charge at Italian others so not.

Varying prices too! Then someone mentions another resturant Teppanyaki?

Is that the Japanesse Steak house where they cook in front of you with a flare for show? Only three sittings on that one? Why would you leave that one off in the first list? Can someone come up with a final price on a complete listing and whether not Italian charges or not? Would these be published in the daily paper you get in board? Hate to be so rude here but hate it when we can't agree on the same thing and find out information given here is wrong. The difference between FREE and $25 per head when you are paying for a party of 20 can make a difference.

Unfortunately, I can't find anything official on the NCL website confirming the pricing of the various dining rooms. If I remember correctly, LeBistro, Cagney's, and Lotus Garden/Teppanyaki are the only restaurants that charge surcharges - which vary from $10pp to $20pp. I did, however, find this complete list of the restaurants (with the exception of the surcharges):

Summer Palace - Located on deck 6; inspired by the grandeur of the palaces of St. Petersburg and the era of Russian Tsars. White and gold ceilings, green marbled pillars and 24 carat gold-coated chandeliers adorn this very detailed dining room; accommodates 558;

Indigo - Located on deck 6; a contemporary restaurant inspired by a modern boutique hotel clean lines and color combinations of blues and shots of orange as an accent. Features pop art backlit in glass; accommodates 304;

Lotus Garden - Located on deck 7; a modern Asian restaurant touting the graphically illustrated traditional female costume and dance of the Far East. Tibetan flags fuller along the railing next to the traditionally carved entrance; accommodates 108. The restaurant features popular Asian dishes, a sushi bar and a Teppanyaki area seating 32;

Mambo's Latin/Tapas Restaurant - Located on deck 8; contemporary and bright, featuring hot and spicy Latin and tapas selections; accommodates 96;

La Cucina Italian Restaurant - Located on deck 12; casual Italian eatery reflecting a village trattoria or traditional farmhouse kitchen; accommodates 96;

The Garden Cafe - Located on deck 12; indoor buffet featuring prepared-to-cook omelets, waffles fruit, soups, ethnic specialties and pasta; accommodates 390. Includes a special "kids only" area with smaller tables and chairs; accommodates 52;

The Great Outdoors - Located on deck 12; an outdoor eatery with alfresco dinning; accommodates 259.

Regarding reservations, you can check the LCD monitors (located throughout the ship) for the anticipated wait times.

Yes, the prices are in the Daily. Here's a copy of the Daily posted a while back: http://travel.webshots.com/photo/2817074670041924082PeBEoW

And these prices were the same on the Panama Canal. Sorry if I made mistakes in my other post. I was remembering with my memory (:( );)

La Cucina is free and will take reservations for "large parties" but you might have to work with them on times! Another restaurant is Shabu-Shabu, part of Lotus Garden and is Mongolian Hot Pot with a charge of $10 pp.

Lotus Garden has 3 parts beside the restaurant. Teppanyaki (Japanese Steak House), Sushi Bar, and Shabu-Shabu are located in Lotus Garden.

Le Bistro prices can vary from $15-$20 pp. depending upon what you order. Cagney's is the same with prioces varying $20-$25 pp.

Hope this clears up some of the confusion. :)
