CruiseCentric Posted May 21, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2007 i did a search byt could not find an answer, so i turn to more immediate experts ~ question: what type of outlet is available...2 or 3 prong? thanks! http://www.carnival.com/CMS/FAQs/Electrical_Outlets.aspx There is one electrical outlet in each stateroom located in the area of the desk/vanity. The outlet is equipped with a 3-prong 110 volt and a 220 volt plug. The outlet in the bathroom can only be used for electric razors.
chitown cruisers Posted May 21, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2007 I added a 12 inch extension with 3 additional outlets to the are behind the TV(most don't think of this)......worked great on the Triumph.....it gave us a charging station away from the vanity area. Island Annie Posted May 21, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 21, 2007 Always a good idea to bring a power strip with you that will provide you with an extra outlet or two. I'm sorry, but I don't think just one outlet per cabin is enough power for ANYONE.
jpmaximus Posted May 21, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 21, 2007 Anyone have a clue as to what caused my 3 prong surge protector to burn up onboard the Legend. I noticed it smelling very metallic on the last day of the cruise. It was that "burnt electrical smell". I had to throw it away.
chamberbear Posted May 21, 2007 #6 Share Posted May 21, 2007 I noticed that it was noted that the bathroom outlet can only be used for electric razors. I don't understand the difference because my DH's razor uses a regular outlet. Am I misunderstanding? Steph
TRIBE1959 Posted May 21, 2007 #7 Share Posted May 21, 2007 We actually had two extra outlets on Imagination Cat12. And as for razor outlet, my DH didn't have that type plug either. It's a wacko shaped outlet up in the air over your head in Cat12 fantasy. No idea why. LOL
dental217 Posted May 21, 2007 #8 Share Posted May 21, 2007 I have a three prong small bar with three outlets. it is about two inches long. Will this work or will the 220 outlet interfere by being too close?

Marque Posted May 22, 2007 #11 Share Posted May 22, 2007 Are the 220 volt plugs 2-prong European plugs or 3-prong UK plugs? It makes a difference which adapter I bring. Thanks.
