csaeroach Posted May 21, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2007 SEAWORLD EXPLORER SEMI-SUBMARINE - Grand Cayman. Just wondering if anyone has ever done the Semi-Submersible with Atlantis Adventures? It looks neat on their webpage and something different then the Stringrays. Just wondering if you see much while out on tour. I am not much for a boat that is over crowded to the point you would just be wanting off. I guess I am wondering if everyone gets a window for a great view? Any help you can offer would be appreciated. Thanks!
Host Jacquelyn Posted August 22, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 22, 2007 I am also curious about this excursion. I have 2 preschoolers, who would love to go in a submarine. I think the semi-sub is probably a better bet... Has anyone been on this excursion, and what were your opinions? Were you disappointed or was it worth it? caymanjohn Posted August 24, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 24, 2007 .....it's the semisub. Very child/youth friendly and a great trip. Everyone gets a window and there's a stop for snorkeling. The sub is good but the trip out to it can be a hassle. Nautilus goes from Rackhams dock, about 5 minutes from the Royal Watler Terminal or 10 minutes from the main terminal. Host Jacquelyn Posted August 27, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 27, 2007 What's the difference between the Nautilus and the Atlantis semi-subs? I will be with a 3 and a 4 year old, who are both too young to snorkel. Other than the snorkeling, are the 2 trips the same?
