expoguide Posted May 24, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2007 Hi All, quick question before we leave for our cruise.. Does Carnival provide whole milk all day? or only at breakfast times? We are taking our 13 month with us and want to make sure we can get her some milk throughout the day - she is drinking almost 20 ounces a day and I don't want to 'take' 5-6 cartons in the morning and lug them around everywhere! thanks for any advice! crusinmama06 Posted May 24, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 24, 2007 I see your point. They are VERY accomodating. You have a few options if there isn't milk available when you need it. Call room service. Store a few in a fridge from breakfast. When you go to lunch/dinner you can always ask for more. If you go to the Lido deck at lunchtime, you can ask for them to grab a couple of cartons out of the kitchen. :) Have a great cruise!
expoguide Posted May 24, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted May 24, 2007 Thanks for the info crusinmama06, didn't think we would have a fridge on board (Inspiration) but if we do that will be great! Hopefully the staff doesn't mind fetching us milk during the day!

Hopefully the staff doesn't mind fetching us milk during the day! The fridge is a *maybe*...go to the Carnival board and ask if anyone had a fridge on Inspiration. I know we've been on Elation and some cabins had them. And we are going on Sensation...*some* cabins have them. I'm sure they would be able to tell you if Inspiration has them. :) And the staff doesn't mind. I had them fetch me milk all of the time. :D
crusinmama06 Posted May 24, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 24, 2007 Oh and BRING SIPPY CUPS!!!!!! I brought some disposable sippy cups and let me tell you, I was glad I did. On Carnival they don't serve anything in a plastic cup with lids and NO straws. So they serve the juice/milk/etc in big ole glass goblets. Yeah glass goblets and a toddler do not go well together...lol. So if your child uses a sippy cup, then bring em. :D

California4Me4Ever Posted May 25, 2007 #9 Share Posted May 25, 2007 Don't know if this will help, but if your DD doesn't like the 2% milk, take some packets of powdered milk to add to the regular milk. It makes it richer and taste more like whole milk. You can get packets in the regular old grocery store. Good luck!
