Insurance Question

Recommended Posts

We are saling on the majesty in Sept{peak hurricane season}.Will the cruise get cancelled or rerouted, and if it gets cancelled do you lose all that $$[we booked the royal suite]??

Most likely if hurricane is in your area where you are scheduled to sail, then they will reroute to a different area. Very few ever get canceled all together. If they did cancel the cruise the cruise outright then they would refund your money to you, but if they reroute you to different islands or even make some days sea days you are entitled to nothing. What wouldn't be covered is if you can't make it to the cruise because of a storm. If the ship is sailing and you don't make it you are out of luck and all your monies if you don't have insurance.

I am assuming you want to know whether you should buy insurance or not, my advice is buy it.
