Dawn Princess Aloha 402

We booked a few days ago for SF-Alaska-SF and got Cabin 402 on the Aloha Deck (balcony). We noticed that this room is opposite the elevator. Does anyone have any experiences with this particular Stateroom or problems with noise by the elevator?

We did Cabin 401 on the SUN (Sister ship) and it was fine.

We are also on Aloha next to the elevators on Dawn for Oct. All the post said nothing negative about it. Most said they loved the aft deck.

I've been very close to this location. You may find the ping pong tables are located above you. They drove us crazy in the late afternoon!

We got off the Sun Princess (sister ship) and were in A410. The ping-pong tables and a smoking area are there. While in Tracy Arm the noise from above was too much. I thought that they were playing some game with the tables and chairs at all hours. But you are 4 rooms away and maybe you will not have smokers and ping-pong players.

I looked at the location of A401 and it appears that the men's restroom is above our cabin and not the ping pong tables. Maybe the sound of running water from there might be restful, like a waterfall.
