KarenConley Posted May 26, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 26, 2007 Hi, I am new to the RCCl boards and have a question--hopefully someone can answer it for me. I have been on a previous cruise on Carnival to the Bahamas and had a blast. My question is this--I have a choice of either going on the eastern caribben on June 26 or July 24th. Is there any difference in the water temps. at this time at the different ports--by the way this would be on the Grandeur of the Seas leaving from Norfolk, VA in June/July 08. Any information would be appreciated. Karen:)
Adagia Posted May 26, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 26, 2007 I'd probably do June. It will plenty warm then, and even hotter in July. June is less risky for hurricanes than July.

KarenConley Posted May 26, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted May 26, 2007 Hi cb at sea and Adagis I am leaning toward June but July works better because my travel agent has booked a group tour with transportation to Norfolk and back. I like to idea of not having to worry about parking--we are not that familiar with the Norfolk area so that is a plus but I am also concerned about hurricanes. Guess I will have too make a decision soon. Thanks for your input. Karen
