QM2 balcony Partitions

Anyone know if the balcony partitions open on the deck #8 balcony cabins?

And if so how wide?

Last year our group on the NOORDAM were able to open the partitions on our 7

cabins and had one heck of a balcony.

Thanks

Well i saw that they do open, however i did not try to find the "key" to open them. (i don't think my neighbours would have really appreciated that hahaha)

Hmmmm... how wide, its just larger than 1/4 of the partition i would say, anyway definitely enough to fit through it... I have a picture, if you look to the division closest to the cabin you can perhaps tell how wide.

We were a family of four with two rooms next to each other on deck 8 on our October 2006 TA. We asked our steward to open up the balcony doors for us and it was no problem. He basically opened a door between the two balconies. You cannot make the partition disappear all together.

Have a good trip!

We were on deck 8 and our adjacent balcony’s were linked by a door, which we were able to leave open,

so 2/3 of the divider was still in place. Our boys used one half and my wife and I used the other.

This worked well for us.

Lester

PS You have to ask your cabin steward to open the door for you.
