Considering going on a "ladies" cruise on Miracle and just heard that swimming is almost impossible-very shallow and people just standing around with drinks. Is this true?

Also what kind of food available at 11p.m-not room sevice.

Thanks for any input.

The Miracle is a great ship. The pools are not super deep, and you really can't do lap swimming or anything, but they are decent sized ~ plenty deep to splash around in and cool off. There is a ledge around the edge of the pool that is only a few inches deep, maybe that's what you're talking about. But, then in the middle it is a few feet deep. The aft pool is adults only, and then there are 2 other pools at the other end of Lido deck.

Food available after 11 pm would be 24-hour pizza, where you can also get Caesar salad and calzone. Also, 24-hour ice cream. The deli is usually open UNTIL 11. There will be several late-night buffets, usually. On our Miracle cruise (which was a different itinerary than yours will be) there was a Mexican Buffet one night and the midnight Grand Buffet another night.

Enjoy! :)

There are 4 pools on the miracle and yes, they stay pretty crowded except for port days. The deepest they go is 4 feet I think and they aren't really long enough to do "laps" or anything. They are more for getting in and cooling off. Yes, many people do get in and sit in them on the sides while having a drink but not unruly or anything.

At 11pm, other than room service, there is 24 hour pizza, ice cream and hot dogs/hamburgers/fries on lido deck. The lido part night has taco's, etc as well and of course one night is the midnight buffet in the dining room.
