Dinner in Camp Carnival

Recommended Posts

Can we put the kids in Camp Carnival while we have dinner? Is it included in the price of the cruise or is this considered "babysitting" time?

yes, you can put the kids in camp while you have dinner, The payed babysitting time does not start until 10pm and ends at 3am.

Check the daily capers to see what time the Camp Carnival dinner starts.

On our cruise (Elation in December) they only had one camp dinner on formal night. It started at 7pm...our main seating dinner was at 5:30. So we just took our children to dinner every night with us.

I have read here though that camp DID open in time for dinner on other ships.

Camp Carnival opens at 7pm (at the LATEST) so if you have "Late Seating" dinner you could just feed the kids at the lido deck. Then drop them off at Camp at 7pm...get ready for dinner and head to dinner without the kids.

"Camp Carnival offers a Children's Dinner each evening of the cruise with the exception of embarkation days and the last sea day. We also offer a lunch service on port days for those children whose parents will be off the ship. All Children's dinners will be served within the Lido Deck Restaurants. Due to severe food allergies and USPH requirements no food can be brought into the Camp Carnival facility. Light snacks may be provided by the Youth Staff some activities will involve food products, this will be clearly indicated in your Camp Carnival Capers."
