CRUISIN' BRIDE Posted May 29, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2007 I am getting married on a cruise in August and have a few quesitons that I can't find on the website. Drinks - I have read in various places that you can take some Non-Alcoholic drinks on board. True or False?? We are renting tuxedo's for the wedding on board and I was wondering if anyone has had trouble with them not fitting and not being able to get them fixed before the ceremony. Just a couple of questions for now. I have a call in but just thought I would check with ya'll in the mean time. Thanks
sportsterjohn Posted May 29, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 29, 2007 You can bring some non-alcoholic drinks on but I probably would not try to bring on more than a 12pac.
Peery5 Posted May 29, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 29, 2007 Question 1. Yes, you can take "a reasonable amount" of non-alcoholic drinks on board with you. With our family of four, we have dedicated a whole suitcase for that purpose on prior cruises. 2. As a general rule, tuxedo's rented on board are generic in sizes. They are in your stateroom when you embark so you have some time to exchange them if the fit is not quite right. You might take some straight pins with you for minor alterations though. Don't worry too much, everything should be great. Congrats. on your upcoming wedding.:)
cruisinbuddy Posted May 29, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 29, 2007 As far as the tux rental goes, go to your local tux rental place, tell them what you're doing, and you need the man/men measured properly. You need to phone and rent a tux, so this way you have the measurements right. Bring your own shoes.
stitch228 Posted May 30, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 30, 2007 They're not too fussy with non alchoholic drinks, I've carried a bag on board with three big bottles of mix, I mean Pepsi, and security didn't say anything to us. Congrats on your upcoming event, my wife and I were married during a Carnival cruise, (Shaw Park, Jamaica), and evrey one of the Carnival staff were wonderful to us. Especially our Dinner staff, and Maitre d'
AdmiralJohnson Posted May 30, 2007 #6 Share Posted May 30, 2007 If you have anyone that is of abnormal body size, they may have a hard time fitting them.
