Hard2Choose Posted May 30, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 30, 2007 We're on the Dawn on 6/10. I know this has been asked before, but I can't find the thread now. Where do you park if you drive to the port & does anyone know what the cost is? Do they take a credit card or do you have to pay cash? How far from the pier is it? I know.....lots of questions, but I know I can count on everyone here to have the anwers! Thanks!

Nancyquilts Posted June 1, 2007 #4 Share Posted June 1, 2007 Also at 55 Francisco, right across the street. Same price, bring cash. About a one plus block and across the Embarcadero. Both are covered and locked garages. We usually park our own car and keep the key. Easy to wheel your luggage from the garage to the ship, but watch the traffic (there are signals with walk lights). Starshine95123 Posted June 10, 2007 #5 Share Posted June 10, 2007 between the 2 parking garages? They're both on Francisco St (55 or 80) so is there any reason to pick one over the other? I know one accepts cash only, but that really doesn't make a difference to me. Is there anything else I should know in order to decide which one to park at? We will be leaving from pier 35. Thank you in advance.:)
Nancyquilts Posted June 11, 2007 #6 Share Posted June 11, 2007 For some years, the only garage available was the one at 55 Francisco. I guess we just go there out of habit - no good reason. Nancy
