AmberMarie Posted May 30, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 30, 2007 I used the search feature, but I got an error. Is there any perks to booking a cruise while you are on board? DBF and I are looking to book our 3rd cruise in Sept of 08 to take advantage of the low prices... but would it be a better deal booking while we are on our ship? If we book now and the prices drop, can we get them to lower our price while we are on board? Also, after this Sept, we will be past guests... do we call them when we get back from our Sept 07 cruise so that we can get any applicable discounts to our 08 cruise that we will already have booked at the time? In summary-- Are there perks to booking on board? When should we book? Can we get past guest discounts applied to a previously booked cruise after we get back from our first CCL cruise? zonemasconi Posted May 30, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 30, 2007 Unfortunatly Carnival doesnt have a Loyalty ambassador so you can't book another cruise while on a present one. now Rccl and princess, Celebrity they all have someone available for that and you usually get an onboard credit. AmberMarie Posted May 30, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted May 30, 2007 Oh, okay, that explains why I never heard anyone mention it! We visited them on the RCCL ship and I guess I thought they had them on Carnival, too. I guess I will book ASAP then! :)

Cruzman Posted May 31, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 31, 2007 Up until about 3 years ago, Carnival did have this option while on board. I was told that the program was suspended due to lack of interest.
