Brneyznfl Posted August 18, 2007 #27 Share Posted August 18, 2007 As a resident of the Florida Panhandle, an area prone to hurricanes, I definitely purchase travel insurance if I'm cruising during hurricane season! I buy a policy that let's me cancel for any reason and I'm able to get 75% back. My main concern is if we are hit by a hurricane just before my cruise, I know I wouldn't be able to leave the area due to my job. So at least with a cancel for any reason policy, I don't have a total loss if I can't cruise.
