Waitlisted for Crown Princess?

Hi, We were waitlisted a couple of weeks ago for a cruise on the Crown Princess in August (9 days to caribbean). Has this happened to anyone? Did cabins open? How long before the trip were you notified? I'm hoping it's not a last minute thing...as in the day before we get a call to go!

I have been on 36 cruises and have never seen a waitlist so long before a cruise! It must be a good one!:)

I just booked Aug 28th on Crown just last week. Which sailing were you trying to book?

my guess is its my sailing (august 19th). final payment was due Tuesday for us, maybe cabins will open up in the next few days (75 days away). Positive thinking!

It probably is the 19th. That date has been waitlisted for some time now. My final payment is due on June 5th. You still have a chance something will open up.

Yes, it's Aug. 19. We hope to see you all there! We are actually waitlisted for 2 cabins, as there are 7 people in our party. We are all elite past passengers, but from what I can see on the boards that may not help!

Yes having Elite doesn't help..guess how many other past cruise passengers have it to..;)
