RT Hawaii 2009

I saw in another post that the Hawaii bookings will be opening up next week for 2009. I'm soooooooo disappointed that the RT sailings from LA will now be 14 day itineraries departing on Wednesdays. That makes it impossible for us to do, since it would involve taking 3 weeks off from work. My husband and I get liberal vacation time per year, but taking 3 weeks off at one time is impossible. I guess Princess is just catering to the retirees with an itinerary that leaves on Wednesdays.

I guess we'll stick with our original plans to sail Celebrity, since their Feb. 2009 sailing leaves on a Saturday and returns 15 days later on a Sunday. One day longer and only need to use two weeks vacation. And I do like the fact that Celebrity spends two days in Maui. But for less than what we'll pay for a standard balcony cabin on Celebrity (170 sq. ft.), we could have gotten a mini-suite on Golden Princess.
