air man Posted June 1, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 1, 2007 My wife and I are sailing in 10 days on AOS. we were recently upgraded to a junior suite, but when I spoke to RCI they told me they will give us new luggage tags at embarkation instead of sending new ones in the mail. does this sound like the normal procedure? ( we are new to RCI )
montekat Posted June 1, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 1, 2007 Yes, normal procedure as it is so close to the sailing date. No problem in getting new tags from the porters at the dock. Be sure to carry a permanent finepoint marker to make writing your name and address on the tag easier.
cb at sea Posted June 1, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 1, 2007 You will LOVE the JS! It's the only way to cruise! Enjoy!
masonpips Posted June 1, 2007 #4 Share Posted June 1, 2007 We were in a similar situation last year when we were upgraded and I just crossed out the original room number and wrote the new one in with a fat tip Sharpie marker. All of our luggage made it to our new room! We didn't bother with the new tags at the terminal - just gave the bags to the porter and went inside.
