Smartcookie Posted June 1, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 1, 2007 We're considering a group cruise (on Azamara actually, to Bermuda), but one of the members of our group wants to fly to Bermuda, stay on the ship 3 nights with her husband in their cabin, then fly home...she is perfectly willing and expects to pay the full cruise fare, my question is, will the cruiseline allow her to do this? Has anyone done this?

Has anyone done this? No one that I have ever heard of doing this. I would think they should be able to do this. They are boarding in a foreign port and departing in a foreign port. I do know some people get dreadfully sea sick in the calmest seas. Aside from that issue. Usually the run in and out of Bermuda is a smooth sail. You have to call the line to arrange this. yosh12 Posted June 2, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 2, 2007 I would guess they're not going to allow it. Not so much a problem of getting off once in Bermuda, but getting on. They used to let you board a ship at different ports, but not any more due to all the security issues.
Spender Nui Posted June 4, 2007 #4 Share Posted June 4, 2007 Don't know the answer but I do know Bermuda has very strict laws regarding entry (and maybe exit too). I'd check it out closely.
