hill6 Posted August 13, 2004 #26 Share Posted August 13, 2004 God bless all of you in her path. I have a client who lives in Port Charlotte and I hope that they are safe. We have another one in Tampa and I hope they didn't evacuate to one of the areas getting slammed now. They say she may still be tropical in nature when it hits Jersey on Saturday night/Sunday. voyagerfl Posted August 14, 2004 Author #27 Share Posted August 14, 2004 Hi......well Sarasota made it through.....but lots of damage reports coming in from those areas to the south of us that were not as lucky. Hearing about things like a nursing home collapsing in Port Charlotte....how horrible. Lets keep em all in our thoughts and prayers:)

hill6 Posted August 14, 2004 #30 Share Posted August 14, 2004 Just heard 77 mph winds sustained at Orlando airport with 105 mph gusts. I wonder how many Glory guests will be stranded unable to get home or to the ship tomorrow. I heard Disney didn't open the Animal Kingdom today and they closed the other parks at 1 p.m. and cancelled all the dinner shows and specially scheduled activities.
