Can anyone tell

It's the Queen Mary 2.

First, it's longer than the pier, the QE2 isn't, and second the twin exhausts for the gas turbines are visible aft.

Only three cruise ships to date are longer than the NY piers, the Freedom of the Seas, the QM2, and the SS Norway.

It isn't the first or latter.

Wow, this is an old picture. If you zoom out and refocus you can see the Intrepid docked and she's been moved to NJ for refurbishing and there's a Celebrity docked between the Intrepid and the ship in question. Celebrity hasn't sailed out of Manhattan since they opened the cruise terminal in Bayonne. So it probably is the QE2.

QE2 is a good guess

Hey Shoreguy, I think that this is a picture of the QM2 :) . The QE2 is does not have this front and is not as big. I think that this is the ship in the satelite picture that the OP asked about.

You're right and the aft has the same two pools as the Google image.
