Birthday Decorations

My son's BD will be on during the cruise. I would like to get his room decorated but don't want the decorations until the day of his birthday. Do they do this? Or is it done before boarding?

Last year my children sent the b'day package for my wife. The room was all decorated when we got on board. It was very nice. You may be able to speak with someone at RCCL and ask if they can do it during the cruise. But if his b'day is towards the end of the week you might want to do it earlier anyway.
