What about the Beach BBQ?

Does anyone know if RC still hosts a beach bbq on their private island, CoCo Cay in the Bahamas? I remember reading about it a while ago, but haven't heard anything about it recently.

As of November 2006 they were still doing it - I believe it is still going on

Yep! They do it on both Coco Cay AND Labadee

They served hot dogs, hamburgers, corn on the cob, BBQ Chicken, different salads, desserts and then a few different drinks like fruit punch

They still are doing them and I enjoy them.

 

Keep in mind that all of the food and the cooking staff come from the ship.

 

If you are an early riser, you can watch them loading one of the tenders with the food and ice for the BBQ lunch. That is one of the first tenders to leave in the morning.

 

It is a well organized and impressive operation!

We had that at Labadee last year. IT WAS GREAT!
