18-21 year olds?

We are traveling on the Dawn on july 14th. My daughter is 19 and is wondering how she will meet other people her own age. Does the Dawn do any type of meet and greet for this age group?

You know, I don't think I have ever seen a specific gathering for 18-21 year olds listed in the freestyle daily on any cruise, but your daughter should have no trouble finding people her own age in places like the pool deck, especially on days at sea when they have pool games, and the disco lounge area (Spinnaker lounge... and others) or by participating in other activities.

On our recent Pearl cruise there was a singles Mix and traveling alone meet at 6:30 pm. Check your dailies for information on singles events.:)

She shouldnt have a big problem meeting people. Although when we went in our early 20's about 3 years ago there weren't many younger people on the boat. But, there are plenty of things to do so she'll be fine. We are also sailing on July 14th you should join the roll call!

Never been on the Dawn but I'm just off the Spirit with my twin almost 18 yr old daughters. The ship didn't have anything special planned, but they didn't have any trouble meeting others. Check the roll calls for your sailing, they met a few people that way to get them started. Then of course that age group expands exponentially with each new face!

 

They had no trouble getting into the discos and clubs although they probably shouldn't have been allowed, but that's a good place to meet too. Watch out for the crew members; my girls had a number of them to contend with in the casino lounge one evening. No real problems but a new experience for them to have to deal with.
