roberts2005 Posted June 15, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2007 I have read reviews that state thatthe cabins on the Viking Sun have internet options. The Viking brochure I have makes no mention of the internet. Any past passengers with information?
debbie p Posted June 16, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 16, 2007 Was on a Viking cruise and yes they had internet and laptops to use. It was $25 euros for an hour. I bit and got bit!! Was able to get online 2x before my hour was up AND remember, when you're in a lock, you lose your connection, happened to me (didn't know a lock was coming up)! Just sat there and watched my minutes and money spin by. Internet service is also hard to connect to in the more 'out of the way' places, want to try when in a larger city area. On our trip, were able to find internet cafes in most larger cities/towns
roberts2005 Posted June 16, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted June 16, 2007 Thanks for the information. I was debating bringing a laptop. $35.00 an hour with a poor connection isn't worth it.
