Should Carnival have Its Own Private Island?

Just read Jamaica poll and decided to start my own because I made an interesting comment in my opinion. I have nothing against HMC, however, most major lines own at least one.

I would love for Canival to have thier own island. You would think since they are the largest cruiseline (collectively) that they would have one...

Maybe I'm jaded because I live in Florida and have unlimited beach access, but I have no desire whatsoever to visit any cruise line's private island.

I think it would be nice. When I am at different ports, I like to experience the culture that is offered. I also like to go to the beach. This would be like a "have your cake and eat it too" kinda thing for me. I would be able to experience the culture at the ports AND have my beach day also.

My last cruise was on HAL and we went to HMC, I LOVED HMC.

Our next cruise is on Carnival. Read between the lines. :D

LOL, I say "TOUGH" :p When HAL owns Carnival, then perhaps they can decide who goes there, but for now, tough cookies :rolleyes: I think it's hilarious that they think they are "too good" for Carnival cruisers... they certainly don't like to be reminded that Carnival Corp owns their precious cruise line... God forbid we sully the beach :p I could make PLENTY of comments about the HAL demographic using the beach... but I do have some class :p

Princess Caye is on Eleuthera Island....perhaps they just own a little piece of the island?

We visited HMC on our last cruise on the Elation and we loved it! As far as HAL cruisers not liking Carnival visiting HMC, I say " TOUGH COOKIES." Carnival owns HAL not the other way around!

Stopping privately will make the course more interesting and in Aruba or near because that is my favorite place I've been so far in my 26 Carnival cruises. They stopped going there and why no idea.
