Golden Princess Dining Room Question

We're in Traditional Dining (confirmed) on the Golden....I understand they use the Canaletto Dining Room for this.

Can you walk straight through on the Fiesta Deck or do you have to use the elevators, in order to go to the dining room? (UP or DOWN)

It seems that the kitchen is in-between Canaletto and Donnatello Dining Rooms..am I correct?

If I wanted to go to the Princess Theatre, after dinner...I would have to take an elevator up...walk to the front of the ship and whether I wanted to sit on the lower level or upper level (take another elevator down or simply walk into the level I'm on?)

If you're confused....Imagine how I feel!

I love being able to walk straight through from Dining Room to Theatre! :p

I realize not all ships are layed out that easily.....what about the Golden?

Stairs are never an option....DH can't do them.....

Roz,

The easiest answer is yes.;)

You'll have to walk aft and take the elevator to the Canaletto and then make you way back upstairs to the Princess Theater.

Yes, you have to go up one deck from the dining room. The entrance to the dining room is on deck 6 – you can only get there from the aft stairwell/elevators. To get to the theater, you need to be on deck 6 or 7. The deck 6 entrance requires that you go through the casino to get there – from the dining room, you’d have to go up one deck then back down one deck in the atrium and forward through the casino. The deck 7 entrance is accessed via the passage near Sterling Steakhouse.

Easiest would be to leave the dining room, go up one deck then walk all the way forward to the theater.

I'm sure once I've done it...it will become very clear....I'm just "navigationally challenged" onboard ships!

However, ask me to find Paris, France from Geneva, Switzerland..via automobile and the autobahn....no problem! Even my DH couldn't believe his eyes (after he opened them!) Anyone who's done the autobahn knows what I mean!

Thanks for the help! Love these boards!
