Ladies, bring a sweater......

Recommended Posts

We just returned from the Miracle June 12-20 sailing and basically that is the only negative thing I have to say. I found most of the public areas to be FREEZING!!! Like a dummy, I packed shorts, skirts, dresses, and capris. Not a single long pair of slacks or a sweater - it was the Caribbean after all, lol.

My review is a bit long to post here, so I'll give the link and if you have an hour to kill, please feel free to read it......

Oh, one other thing I noticed onboard is that Gatsby's Garden was never in use and it is beautiful. A very cozy place to sit and talk quietly or read a book. A bonus because of the light streaming in from the windows, it was usually warm. :)

Thank you for your review!! Glad you enjoyed your trip. My family won't be sailing on the Miracle until 4/08, but every bit of info will help. I will definitly pack a sweater (usually do, anyway), just in case!! I'm always cold!

My son will be 17 when we sail so it's nice to hear that your boys kept themselves entertained and had a great time!!

I always take a light jogging suit. Pepole laugh at me when I tell them this - but in the evenings out on deck or on your balcony it is cool. Between the wind and the ship moving - it is cold sometimes! lol

I also always take a shawl for wearing inside the public areas. It is nice and light and always looks good with anything you wear.

Thanks for letting us know the Miracle is on the cool side.I Always bring along a light sweater. I am sure many people feel they don't need it going to the Caribbean. IKE
