Does anyone know how much it is to use the internet on the ship?

From $0.75 per minute to package deals that get you down as low as about $0.45 per minute in the Internet Cafe. I think wireless was a flat $0.50 or so per minute.

WE were told (and it says in the brochure) the suite has access to the Net cafe. This puzzled me. Cause EVERYONE has access to the Net cafe. So I called and they said access is free to you in the cafe if you have a suite. Not a Mini. Other wise they told me if you sit in the atrium on your wireless it was .35 per min.

I'm calling again to make sure. Not that I wana be online a lot but gota keep in touch with the office every other day or so. Around the HW Islands and ports. I hope to use my cell PC card.

Dont take cruises a lot so we got a suite and if the access isnt included. It wont be THAT big of deal. But the Travel agent and me WILL have a chat. LOL

I'm not sure I'm understanding you. If you are in a full suite, the internet is free to you with unlimited useage. For anyone paying to use the internet it is .75 per minute or you can purchase a package for less per minute. Wireless is the same as using the Princess computers; .75 per minute, not .35. Even if in a full suite. No free wireless.

Internet on a cruise can be very expensive. One of the problems is the ship satellite system is much slower than your internet most likely is at home or office. For every one minute you spend on the internet at home, it will take around 5 minutes to do the same thing on a ship.

I never said the wireless was free. What I said was that they said with a suite you have free access to the Net cafe. And when I called they said that was true. As far as cost per min. with wirless? That is what they told me. .35 but I would not be a bit suprised it being .75 for wirless.

We RV a lot and I know how Sat. internet works. It can be as fas a slow dsl. But put a few people on at the same time? :( LOL

On the Royal P. wireless was less per minute than any but the best of the Internet Cafe packge prices. It was either $0.45 or $0.50 per minute IIRC. It is clear from the posts above that internet prices may vary from ship to ship.
