Tammy245 Posted August 16, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2004 There seems to be 2 main dining rooms on the Dawn/Sun according to the layout I am looking at. Is one PC and the other traditional? For those who have done PC on these ships, is there much of a wait at peak dining times? Many times we will eat later, after 9ish, but other nights we may want to eat 7ish and just wondering if there may be a wait at this time. Also, how late do they seat you at the PC dining room? coiran Posted August 16, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 16, 2004 On the Sun Class ships - one dining room is for PC dining and the other is for traditional dining. We usually eat early and make PC reservations for about 6-6:15 and have always walked right in - you may have a wait at 7 because 6 diners are still eating and they may not take a reservation for 7. They will take reservatioins for 8 and you should have no problem. It is wise to make your reservations in the morning as soon as you can, about 8 am. kruisey Posted August 16, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 16, 2004 Agree if you arrive 7PM you may have to wait a little ...this also depends on the size of your party if you have not reserved. Princess states you can walk into the PC dining room anytime to 10PM. As Coiran states its best to reserve if you know the exact time you wish to enter the dining room. I always like to eat at the same time each nite which suites Trad dining. On the other hand you can also book the same table in PC for the whole trip if you wish to dine at the the same time each nite. LindaKE Posted August 16, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 16, 2004 On the Sun we never made reservations and always got right in. We did eat a little earlier than 7:00 most nights, but I can't remember what was the latest.
