Padme Posted June 29, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 29, 2007 Hi everyone! I am surprising DH with a cruise for his birthday this fall. This is a first cruise for both of us. We'll be on the Spirit Canada/NE 9/23. Most of my questions have been answered already with the great info here, but I haven't seen much about port days. I have seen that times are quite early for some stops (7AM!) and wondered if excursions start that early (I like to sleep in). Also, are there still activities scheduled on board during port days? Thanks!

Thanks! Some excursions may indeed start early if they need lots of time. Expect the earliest to be off the ship around 7:45 AM on a 7 AM arrival. There are usually a few activities on board scheduled during port days, but definitely less than a typical sea day.
