bruce-r Posted August 17, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 17, 2004 There are a large number of dive operators on Grand Cayman, almost as many as on Cozumel. I did my cruise diving with Neptunesdivers and recommend them, but as you already know, they will off island when you are there. Other dive OP's I would contact are: Red Baron divers Off the Wall divers Fisheye diving, especially if you are a photographer Divetech which also offers shore diving which is less expensive than a boat dive. Tortuga divers The whole list of dive operators on Grand Cayman can be found HERE Have yourself a dive circus Brittle Star inside of a azure vase sponge

BullinOhio Posted August 21, 2004 #5 Share Posted August 21, 2004 Divers Down in Grand Cayman is good too. We dove with them for a week in July. If you dive the west side of Cayman (seven mile beach area), ask to dive "big tunnel." GREAT DIVE!!!
thedebbied Posted August 21, 2004 #6 Share Posted August 21, 2004 I have spend 5 weeks diving Grand Cayman over the past 3 summers. I can personally recommend Red Baron (West End & North Wall) and Ocean Frontiers (East End). Red Baron is a very small op and if they are booked I would take any recommendation Nick gives you. Shore diving is also readily available (walking distance from pier) at Eden Rock Dive Center (Eden Rocks and Devils Grotto)-also good place for snorklers. Make sure you walk past the first shop you see and continue to the one with the full title on the sign. Better shore entrance/accessability to both sites. Have fun!
