Tropical Weather Outlook Nws Tpc/national Hurricane Center Miami Fl 1130 Am Edt Tue Jul 3 2007 For The North Atlantic...caribbean Sea And The Gulf Of Mexico... A Low Pressure Area Associated With A Tropical Wave Over The Central Atlantic Ocean About 1500 Miles East Of The Southern Windward Islands Has Become A Little Better Organized This Morning. Although Environmental Conditions Are Only Marginally Favorable... Some Further Development Of This System Is Possible... ALTHOUGH ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS ARE ONLY MARGINALLY FAVORABLE... SOME FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM IS POSSIBLE... A Well-defined Low Pressure Area Over The Central Atlantic Ocean Is Located About 1000 Miles East Of The Southern Windward Islands Moving Westward At 10 To 15 Mph. This System Has Some Potential For Tropical Cyclone Formation During The Next Day Or So Before Upper-level Winds Become Less Favorable For Development.
