Ketchikan crab feed?

Anyone done this excursion? Any good? We like to try new things, and this sounds a little different. Thanks!

I may be wrong, but i think that this may be a new excursion this year so I don't think there will be many responses to your question. I was interested in that one also but my cruise isn't until next may so if you do it, please report back.

Found it on the web, but I am always deeply annoyed when the site tells you everything BUT the cost. The reservation page doesn't even hint at it... very unsettling.

We have booked this shore excursion. It is $139 I believe (through Celebrity). They have a web page at www.catchcrabs.com. I was at first apprehensive about the excursion, but am really looking forward to it after seeing the web page. I believe that maybe it is not new? I seem to remember reading someone say that it was worth the money. A few weeks ago someone mailed the company. They said that the crab feed is 3 halves of Dungeness Crab but that people can request more crab if they'd like it. They also said that they had a chicken alternative for people who cannot eat seafood.

I'm taking this excursion on my 5/28 Ryndam cruise. I'll post feedback when I return the week of 6/7. Happy cruising
