My future wife and I will be visiting St. Kitts in November on our honeymoon and we are trying to find enjoyable activities. Does anybody know of any romantic, relaxing, or adventurous activities that would be enjoyable for a newlywed couple in their early 20s? I appreciate all the help. Thanks!

Congrats on your upcoming honeymoon! :)

"While in St. Kitts embrace the ambiance that is St. Kitts. Breathe in the serenity and relax. Let the intoxicating sights and sounds of St. Kitts soothe and enrich the soul.

Wander the shoreline of St. Kitts' sandy beaches, feel the soft breeze, soak up the sunshine or watch a quiet sunset.

Get away from it all. Oceans away from the clamor and distractions of the outside world, immerse yourself in the romance of this secluded place; smell the flowers, listen to the birds, stroll hand in hand on Cockleshell; an untracked beach, or spend the afternoon in a hammock built for two.

When the sun goes down, watch the city lights twinkle and palm trees sway in the cool evening breeze at Turtle Beach Bar & Grill http://www.turtlebeach1.com.

Gaze at the romantic Caribbean moon, bask in the starlight, be enchanted by a beach bonfire at Mr. X's Shiggidy Shack http://www.mrxshiggidyshack.com or dance the night away with that special someone at Ziggy's Beach Bar."

A fun way to spend the day is with Blue Water Safaris. http://www.bluewatersafaris.com

A website you might enjoy is http://*****

A romantic lunch at Ottley's Plantation http://www.ottleys.com, Serendipity http://www.serendipitystkitts.com or Marshall's http://www.marshalls-stkitts.com is a must. Reservations are a must and let them know it's your honeymoon. They will take good care of you.

You can also tour the island with Thenford Grey, a knowledgeable and friendly guide. He has a brand new, air conditioned van and he will take you to Brimstone Hill Fortress http://www.brimstonehillfortress.org (a must see), Romney Manor/Caribelle Batik http://www.caribellebatikstkitts.com, Black Rocks, and the southeast peninsula if time permits.

He takes good care of his clients and makes sure you enjoy your day in St. Kitts.

You can e-mail him at thenang06@yahoo.com

Hike to the top of Mt Liamuiga with Royston Stevens!

Paul58,

Thanks for the reply. How long ago did you use Royston Tours? How much did it cost? And how long was the tour?

Thank you.

Liz,

I have seen a lot about Mr. X's Shiggidy Shack from other posts. Can you tell me more about it? Also, what would you recommend as the most romantic thing to do on the island. We are leaving around 5 PM I believe. Thanks for all your help and suggestions.

What would you like to know about The Shiggidy Shack? Their website is http://www.mrxshiggidyshack.com It is a fun, casual beach bar located on beautiful South Frigate Bay. It is very popular with locals and tourists.

The most romantic thing to do is take the catamaran excursion with Blue Water Safaris. http://www.bluewatersafaris.com

Can I book straight through blue water safaris? Or do I book through the cruise line?

When a cruise ship is in port most tour operators ask you to book directly with the cruise line.

Another romantic option would be horseback riding on a deserted beach.

Liz,

I appreciate all your help. My fiance loves horseback riding and we were planning on doing this at one of the ports of call. Have you gone horseback riding in St. Kitts or know about it? If so, what do you reccomend? Thanks!

My pleasure! :)

I have not gone horseback riding in St. Kitts but my sisters did when we were younger.

For more information you should contact Trinity Stables. They do tours to the rainforest by horseback at a rate of $55 USD per person. They can be reached at 869-465-3226. Their website is http://www.trinityinnapartments.com
