pizal Posted May 4, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 4, 2004 We are going to be doing a back to back tour in Juneau and just realized that we will not be back for lunch. Has anyone done this before and if so what did you do about lunch? We are on the Island Princess leaving out of Vancouver on May 15th. Thanks for your suggestions. gregbarbra Posted May 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 5, 2004 you can eat breakfast late and dinner early, or you can take some snacks with you (fruit, danish, etc) from breakfast. Other than that, I dont know....many excursions provide small snacks as part of it or at least sell things (like the White Pass Railroad)
gonnago Posted May 5, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 5, 2004 I believe I read a post that suggested you could get a lunch from the ship. Another suggestion was to order sandwiches from room service and put them in Ziploc Bags. This was discussed about a month ago in the HAL forum. mscloyd Posted May 5, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Yes, I remember reading that you could order room service the night before and then put it in ziplocs to take with you.
