Damage of Regal Princess in February 2007, problems with reimbursement

We are a German pair, who tried to do a Panama-Canal Cruise with the Regal Princess from Acapulco thru the Panama-Canal to Puerto Rico (19. February to 1. March 2007). Because our ship was damaged, we were sent home. Because we made our own flight arrangement over a german travel agent, we only get back the cruise prize. But we have a note from the Captain, that also our continental flight costs will be reimbursed.

 

How we can get our money back?

 

We are very disappointed, because this trip was our honeymoon.
