FLL Airport to port of miami

Our flight arrives at FLL at 12:30 PM and the ship leaves at 4 PM. We are thinking about going on tri- county airport express to get to the port. Does this give us enough time to get onto the ship?

That is really cutting it close! If your flight is delayed at all it could be disasterous. I wouldn't even want to come into Miami at that time of day!

 

You are requested to be on the ship by 3PM and you wouldn't even be ready to leave Ft. Lauderdale before 1PM at the earliest, considering getting to the baggage claim and then out to the busses. Is there a regular schedule for tri-county or do they wait to fill up before they leave?

 

Figure minimum 45 minutes from door to door unless there is an accident....!

 

Too close for comfort even in the best of situations.

We also had a 12:30 flight into FLL. We used larryslimos.com and the man was there waiting for us at baggage claim. He got us to the airport in plenty of time. It might be larryslimo.com. If memory serves me it was around $100 for five of us.

I would not risk it. Either a limo or cab for a private ride. If you flight is late or there is an accident or construction, you have a problem. Is this on the weekend?
