Best of San Juan in Two Days...What should we do?

My family and I will be in San Juan for two days prior to our cruise...Adventures of the Seas leaving July 29th. What are some things we can do that we should definately not miss. We've never been there so we're completely open for suggestions.

The best way to tackle an open question like that is to help out with a little more background of your group. What is the composition of your family and what are your collective general interests? Beach, attractions, shopping, traveling inland, etc. are examples of things that might be appealing depending on what you like to do. It is easier to get more specific with ideas then.

Having just returned I will volunteer that the bio-bay trip in Fajardo is "not to be missed" so long as the light conditions are good for the date you will be there. El Morro in Old San Juan is also a great historic sight. El Yunque hiking trails are good for the physically fit, especially the climb thru the cloud forest. Just some ideas. DMaugle
