parking, Newark Liberty airport

Has anyone parked at the long term parking there? or at a private lot? I have heard that there are cheaper lots that aren't really further than the Newark airport's parking. Thanks, Ann

There are many private lots by Newark Liberty airport. If you surf the Net you will find some and perhaps a discount coupon or two. We always park in the economy longterm parking lot ($15.00 per day) unless someone (usually one of our daughters) is available to pick up our car and return it the morning we return. Never had any problems while parked there. The panynj website states it can take 20 minutes to get to the terminal. You get on a shuttle bus and get dropped off at the door. I don't remember taking more than 15 minutes but I would allow the extra time. Off site parking may save you a dollar or two a day and you can reserve your spot on line.
