Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Kauai

Hi there

We are booked on Blue Hawaiian for a tour in Kauai. the Departure point says that it is Harbor Mall across from the Nawiliwilli Harbor - does this mean taht we can walk there from the POH?

Yes, my understanding is that it is a very walkable distance to the mall and they shuttle you to the airfield.

I've heard the same thing... we are doing the same tour on Kauai... I plan on calling Blue Hawaiian when the date is closer!

Yes- we just came back from that cruise and it is a very walkable distance up the hill from the wharf where the ship docks.

I don't recall it being much of a "hill" from the docks to the Harbor Mall. We walked it when we took our Blue Hawaiian flight. They have a shuttle to the harbor mall later in the day, but if you're on an early flight, the shuttle won't be running yet.

Another option is to take the shuttle to Anchor Cove and walk up the street less than a block to Harbor Mall. The shuttle began at 8:30AM. It is not a bad walk if for some reason you can't catch either of the shuttles - maybe 15 minutes. Have a great time! We enjoyed our helicopter trip - it was an awesome way to see the island.

We did that one last year and it was truly awesome. It was just like floating that smooth. Make sure you bring a camera, the trip is stunning and you can get some good shots inside the copter.
