Is there any thing to do near Long Beach Airport

Is there any thing to do at and/or near the Long Beach Airport? Thanks

We stayed the LB Airport Marriott a few years ago and started to walk around and went back to the hotel spent the rest of the day there. Nothing to do by the airport. This year we are downtown next to the shore. Planning on spending the day at the Aquarium of the Pacific and shopping.

 

The airport is about 7 miles from downtown and about $25 for a taxi. The bus runs by, but didn't have a schedule at the time. I ordered a small brochure online at http://www.visitlongbeach.com/ they have lot of ideas.

If you mean right around the LB Airport...the answer is no. If you have use of a car there is Disneyland/Knotts Berry Farm but thats 10 to 15 miles from there..the port of Long Beach is about the same..The Queen Mary among other things are located there. Hollywood and LA is 25 to 30 miles from there. Are you at the Airport for a layover..how much time do you have?

Yes, depending on shuttle from San Pedro, after cruise, we will have about a 2 1/2-3 hr layover before flight, thanks
