MONARCH JS location question

Recommended Posts

We are booked on the Monarch Sept 10-14 in a JS. After looking at the ship lay out I am wondering if we should change cabins. Right now we are under the pool area & I have read that it can be very noisey in the wee hours of the am with cleaning the deck & pool & chairs. The only available JS are on either side the forward elevators. 2 port side and 1 starboard. That would mean 2 under the pool bar and 1 under the area outside of Windjammer. OK, which is the best? We have been under the WJ in an OS on the Splendour before and it was maddening all the noise at night with the carts rolling back and forth.

Thanks in advance

I had that same dilemma in choosing my room on the Monarch and ended up choosing a room under the pool...I'm HOPING it will be less noisy than a room under the Windjammer. I will find out if that was a good decision when I sail next month. :)

I would choose the pool bar area, I've been under the Windjammer before and never again...it IS noisy early in the morning.

I stayed in a JS under the pool. It really wasn't that bad. I am a very light sleeper and was never woken up by noise. We did hear chairs being moved around but it wasn't something that ruined our stay.
