We were at the aft on the Dolphin Deck on the Volendam June 22 to Alaska and found it very quiet and peaceful..didn't notice noises mentioned. There was some docking noise but we were up anyway at that time and watched the port out the window during the time. In fact DH like it so much that we got FF for our December trip on the Veendam...hope we don't regret that.
