Sail away music

Thought I saw something about this on another thread but can't remember... For those of you lucky enough to have cruised to Alaska before, do they play music when you sail away on an Alaskan cruise? If so, what kind of music?

no steel drums that for sure!! just a one of the ship's band playing around the pool, where they were having a cook out.
