vindog1234 Posted August 20, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2004 Can someone please explain to me the different types of Balcony staterooms on the Constellation. I think they are split into Premium and Deluxe, with Premium having the larger rooms. What are the best balcony rooms on the boat......1A, 2C, etc......What is the difference?? location? Also, are the concierge class staterooms any different than the regular balcony rooms besides the services provided? I'm confused, so if anyone can help me out, I will greatly appreciate it. I guess basically I would like to know what the BEST balcony rooms are. Thanks
ecowen Posted August 20, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 20, 2004 In the past, I gladly shared information on the best balcony cabins, having done a fair amount of research on the topic myself. Now that the word is out, I have been unable to secure any of these cabins, because they sell out so quickly--more than a year in advance in some cases! As a result, I've decided to no longer share this information.:p So, my advice to you is to study the deck plans, which are (for the most part) accurate and show which cabins have bigger balconies. You can also search this site using key words. Or, just wait a few minutes until someone who is less bitter than I posts a response!:D
dabear Posted August 20, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 20, 2004 The A catagory has rooms approx 20sq ft larger than he B cat,. Balconies approx the same size. the A has a 2 seat loveseat vs a chair. there are a few larger cat A rooms with larger balconies that go very fast. rooms 6135 & 36 and 6143 and 44. This info is before CC changes but I think they still apply since all former A on deck 9 are all cc.. this info is on Millie class ships. good luck@! I'm thinking it is best to go for a CC room for the extra few bucks. I will try to get aft of course, since that is what it seems is best. Besides aft, I am not too sure what to go for next. I would not like to be right under the overhang, so I'm thinking maybe Deck 6 or 7 would be best for me.
ecowen Posted August 20, 2004 #5 Share Posted August 20, 2004 Not even for a fellow New Yorker? QUOTE] Guilt works wonders!:p See if 6144 or 6143 are available. They have larger interiors and a nicer balcony than others in their category. The balcony is 3 times deeper and is made of teak wood. Nestled between the suites, they offer a quiet location and exceptional service. Good luck!:D
vindog1234 Posted August 20, 2004 Author #6 Share Posted August 20, 2004 Thanks a bunch. If the layout of the decks on celebrity's web site is somewhat accurate, those rooms are alot larger than the other premium rooms. Wow.
