VISLAND Posted August 29, 2007 #26 Share Posted August 29, 2007 HI BEV, WE MEET ON THE BOARD FOR THE ALASKA CRUISE. REBECCA & TOM..... UNFORTUNATELY, WE DIDN'T HAVE A CHANCE TO MEET ON BOARD, THE SUN, BUT, I'M SURE YOU AND bYRON ENJOYED THE TRIP. AS WE DID, WASN'T THE ENTERTAINMENT GOOD!! THE ONLY DOWN-SIDE OF THE SHIP, WAS THE CONGESTION AROUND THE BUFFET, WE FELT REALLY BAD FOR HANDICAPPED PEOPLE, TRYING TO FIND A TABLE..... OTHER THAN THAT, EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. Moo_Cruiser Posted October 27, 2007 #27 Share Posted October 27, 2007 We were on the Sun to Alaska from June 10-17 . . . . It was our first cruise so I don't have anything to compare her to . . . . but I thought she was just beautiful! No wear and tear that I was aware of. All the public rooms were lovely and in fine shape! We had a cabin with a balcony . . . No shower door! Just the "dreaded" shower curtain . . . . . which was fine. Not a big enough deal to make me sail a different ship.:D Hi Harley We too have booked a balcony cabin. I have a coupla questions for you: I have heard the cabin does not have a fridge. Is this true? Is the shower a "walk in" type shower or is it a bath type set up where you have to step over a bath? Thanks for your help!
