Only some restaurants have different names. If you can find you way around the Star, then you will be able to on the Dawn Happy Cruising, Monty
Rare CTCruisers Posted July 31, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 31, 2007 We have been on both ships. As mentioned, they are sister ships with only subtle differences. The thing we liked the best with both ships was the indoor pool/spa area. For the most part it was a quiet place to relax.
marilynd Posted July 31, 2007 #4 Share Posted July 31, 2007 The Dawn has guest laundry facilities and the Star does not.

The in cabin electrical outlets are the same. If you're using a laptop, this may impact you if you're wanting to use it in public areas. On the Dawn, you have to use an adapter in most public areas where the Star has more "normal" US outlets. If you forget an adapter, the Internet Cafe will have standard US outlets on the Dawn. Have fun; both are great ships.
